Russia is a country with a rich and diverse culture. Russia has a history and tradition that every Russian can feel proud of. Russian women have the potential to make good wives and a Russian wife has an important role to play in a Russian family structure. Russian wives are especially good at handling situations and they never take a situation to a position that can never come back. But this does not imply that they easily give up but then they just prefer to approach a situation with a balanced attitude so that they can reduce the complications if they handled it the other way round. Another characteristic of a typical Russian wife is that they are more concerned about the end result than proving their point.

Russian wives are wiser in treating an issue in such a way that in the end they achieve what they wanted to do or how they wanted things to be. Their intention is not to be tricky but it comes very natural for them. Most Russian wives are working women and they shoulder the double responsibility of both job as well as taking care of the family. This is because the husbands in Russia rarely participate in taking care of the family. This way, most women regard that their role as a wife is more difficult to play than that of their husbands. This financial hardship originates from the fact that there are not many allowances and benefits that the state offers to these families.

A Russian woman can never have a respectable social status as long as she is single. Her career prospects and earnings can never bring her a good name unless she is married. A decent Russian wife is supposed to stay at home doing the entire house chores while the husband is independent enough to spend time in cafes and discos. This is because of the fact that Russian society is still male-dominating. During the primary years of marriage, the Russian couples stay with one of their parents. Added to this, it is very difficult for a wife to raise her family because majority of the families in Russia do not even own a basic electronic utility like an automatic washing machine or even a microwave.  

The routine of a Russian wife centers on her house, workplace, shopping centers and nothing more. Hence it would probably be more apt to say that a Russian wife wakes up every morning with a thought to cope up with today's problems rather than saying that she wakes up with a mood to enjoy the new day.
